Welcome to the second OVAGLAS® newsletter, highlighting a selection of the projects we brought to life throughout May, here’s a look at what kept our team busy over the past month.
We kicked off May with a series of installations at shared office spaces in both Leeds and Manchester. These projects focused on enhancing privacy with frosted glazing, while incorporating custom branding and client logos to create a professional, cohesive look throughout the workspaces.
Next up, one of our installation teams headed to Leicester to carry out a vinyl film replacement at a hotel. The new film was carefully selected to match the colour and style of the building’s façade, creating a cleaner, more unified appearance.
Our next project took us to the beautiful Stationers’ Hall in London, where we installed 3M Prestige 70 Solar Film. This high-performance film helps reduce heat and glare while maintaining the building’s historic appearance — a perfect solution for preserving comfort without compromising on aesthetics.
We also completed a project in Bristol featuring the installation of Casper Cloaking Technology. This innovative architectural film is designed to block LED and LCD screens from view when seen from outside a room, while remaining completely transparent to everything else. It’s a powerful solution for meeting rooms, offices, and collaborative spaces — helping prevent visual data breaches without compromising the open, modern feel of glass walls. This installation at a truck stop in Leeming Bar was carried out to provide privacy for a new gym space under development. We applied a silver reflective film that offers one-way visibility — allowing those inside to see out clearly, while preventing passers-by from seeing in. It’s an effective and stylish way to maintain privacy without sacrificing natural light.
Next up for the team was a project with Bulgaro Interiors, who wanted to elevate their showroom in Bexleyheath with a stylish privacy solution. The client chose Solyx® Reeded Glass Film for its elegant look and practical benefits. We installed it in multiple areas throughout the showroom — providing a high level of privacy while still allowing natural light to flow through the space.
Next up was an office installation in Sheffield, where we applied silver etch film in both full-height coverage and 1-metre-deep bands. The goal was to enhance privacy across key areas while incorporating custom logos and branding to maintain a polished, professional look throughout the workspace.
We wrapped up the month with another Solyx® decorative film installation — this time featuring Twilight Black Reeded Glass. Applied to refrigeration units at a hotel in London, the film was chosen to elevate the overall aesthetic, adding a sleek, modern touch while subtly obscuring the contents for a cleaner visual finish.

Der Februar war ein weiterer produktiver Monat in unseren britischen und internationalen Projekten. Im Laufe des Monats lieferten unsere Installationsteams spezialisierte Lösungen für Fensterfilmmontage, Verglasungsverbesserung und Nachrüstung von Fensterfolien im Einzelhandel, im Gewerbe und im öffentlichen Sektor. Von Sichtschutzfensterfolie und Solarschutzfolie bis hin zu Sicherheitsfolien-Upgrades und gedruckten Grafiken zeigen diese Projekte die Vielseitigkeit und Leistungsfähigkeit moderner Verglasungsverbesserungssysteme.
In Büros, Wohngebäuden, Verkehrsknotenpunkten und Gemeinschaftsarbeitsplätzen haben wir maßgeschneiderte Fensterfolienlösungen installiert, um den spezifischen Anforderungen des Standorts gerecht zu werden. In jedem Fall konzentrierten wir uns auf die Verbesserung der Energieeffizienz, die Erhöhung der Privatsphäre, die Erhöhung der Sicherheitsvorschriften und die Stärkung des Innenraumbrandings. Dadurch unterstreicht dieses vielfältige Portfolio unsere Expertise bei der Lieferung und Installation von Hochleistungs-Fensterfolien im gesamten Vereinigten Königreich und international.
Zum Abschluss des Monats besuchten wir den EuroShop in Düsseldorf, wo wir uns mit Branchenpartnern austauschten und die neuesten Entwicklungen im Einzelhandelsdesign und in der Effizienz erkundeten.
Nachfolgend eine Zusammenfassung der in den letzten Wochen abgeschlossenen Verglasungs- und Nachrüstprojekte.
Zu Beginn haben wir ein Opal-Frost-Sichtschutzband in einem vollständig verglasten Bürobereich in Oxfordshire installiert. Wir wollten eine Privatsphäre im Besprechungsraum schaffen, während wir gleichzeitig natürliches Licht und ein offenes Gefühl bewahren. Nach einer detaillierten Standortuntersuchung legten wir ein kontinuierliches Opal-Frostmanifestationsband auf Augenhöhe an. Dieser Ansatz verbesserte die Privatsphäre und gewährleistete die Einhaltung der Glassicherheit. Insgesamt lieferten wir ein sauberes, zeitgemäßes Finish, das Diskretion mit Design in Einklang brachte.
Kurz darauf besuchten wir ein Gemeinschaftsbüro in Newcastle. Dort installierten wir mattierte Fensterfolie zusammen mit maßgeschneidertem Firmenbranding auf Glaswänden. Während der Kunde Privatsphäre priorisierte, wollte er auch die helle, offene Atmosphäre bewahren, die für Coworking-Umgebungen typisch ist. Deshalb haben wir ein klares, frostiertes Manifestationsband aufgetragen und präzise geschnittenes, vollfarbiges Branding überlagert. Diese Lösung verbesserte die Privatsphäre und schuf gleichzeitig ein mutiges visuelles Statement.
Als Nächstes wechselten wir in den Gastgewerbebereich. In einem Hotel und Spa haben wir Opal-Frostfolie an einer verglasten Eingangstür angebracht. In diesem Kontext müssen die Betreiber Privatsphäre und Präsentation in Einklang bringen. Aus diesem Grund haben wir hochwertiges Opal-Frostvinyl auf die zentrale Glasplatte aufgetragen. Diese Installation sorgte für eine einheitliche Oberfläche, verbesserte Diskretion und verbesserte Glassichtbarkeit zur Einhaltung der Sicherheitsvorschriften. Das Endergebnis ergänzt die ruhige, hochwertige Atmosphäre des Raumes.
Dann wechselten wir von Privatsphäre zur Aufführung in Oxford. In diesem Wohnprojekt haben wir Silver 20 Solar-Fensterfolie in den Fluren der Wohnungen installiert. Große verglaste Korridore ermöglichten erhebliche Wärmeaufnahme und Blendung. Um dieses Problem zu lösen, haben wir die Folie an die Innenseite der Fenster angebracht. Silver 20 reduziert die Solarwärme, minimiert Blendung und verbessert die Energieeffizienz, ohne den Raum wesentlich zu verdunkeln. Folglich erleben die Bewohner heute eine komfortablere Flurumgebung mit einem saubereren Außenerscheinungsbild.
Im Rahmen der Überarbeitung des Londoner Hauptquartiers von Reply haben wir ein umfassendes Paket aus internem Branding und Grafikinstallationen geliefert. Eine großformatige Wandgrafik verwandelte eine schlichte Wand in einen markanten Fokuspunkt. Zusätzlich haben wir Fensterfolien, Innenbeschilderung und weitere markierte Elemente im gesamten Gebäude installiert. Gemeinsam schufen diese Installationen eine stimmige und professionelle Ausstattung, die die Markenpräsenz stärkte und den Arbeitsplatz verbesserte.
Später im Monat schlossen wir eine hochrangige Installation von bedrucktem Gradient-Fensterfilm am Bahnhof Banbury ab. Aufgrund des Maßstabs und der Höhe der verglasten Eingangsfassaden verwendeten wir spezielle Zugangsgeräte und koordinierten die Arbeiten sorgfältig. Der gedruckte Verlauffilm erzeugt einen glatten Fade-Effekt über das Glas. Es verbessert die Privatsphäre im Inneren und sorgt gleichzeitig für das natürliche Tageslicht. Äußerlich zeigt der Bahnhof nun ein sauberes, zeitgemäßes Erscheinungsbild, und im Inneren profitieren die Fahrgäste von besserem Komfort und Diskretion.
Wir führten außerdem ein Sicherheitsfilmstreifen-und-Ersatz-Projekt in einer Wohnung in Battersea durch. Im Laufe der Zeit verschlechterte sich der vorhandene Fensterfilm und beeinträchtigte sowohl die Leistung als auch das Erscheinungsbild. Wir entfernten die gealterte Sicherheitsfolie, bereiteten die Verglasung vor und installierten eine neue Hochleistungs-Sicherheitsfensterfolie, die den aktuellen Standards entspricht. Dieses Upgrade stellte die Klarheit wieder her, verbesserte die Glasbindung und verbesserte den Schutz, ohne die Sicht auf London zu beeinträchtigen. Das Projekt zeigt, warum Hausverwalter proaktiv alternde Sicherheitsfensterfolien ersetzen sollten, um die Einhaltung der Vorschriften und langfristige Leistungsfähigkeit zu gewährleisten.
Abschließend schlossen wir den Monat auf der EuroShop, der weltweit größten Einzelhandelsmesse. In Partnerschaft mit Kenfield Ltd und Aerofoil-energy präsentierten wir integrierte Nachrüstlösungen für den Einzelhandelssektor. Durch Zusammenarbeit zeigten wir, wie kombinierte Technologien die Leistung und Energieeffizienz im Laden verbessern. Insgesamt bot EuroShop einen starken Abschluss eines arbeitsreichen und produktiven Monats.
